Desolation Angel started in 2002 as a fan site for the Texas-based roots rock band Reckless Kelly. At one time or another, DA has been home to multiple bloggers, community forums, and all sorts of oddities—it was like an emporium of Americana fandom… you never knew what you might stumble across in some hidden corner.

This is our latest incarnation, effective February 9, 2010—coinciding with the release of Reckless Kelly’s eighth album, “Somewhere in Time.”

We’ll continue to add bits and pieces as we go along… including the full RK lyrics catalogue, and over 3,000 pictures from RK gigs spanning the last decade…
