Reckless Kelly didn’t always put lyrics in their liner notes. We weren’t sure why but suspected it was because of the added cost to production. Way back in 2002 when we started the site, Kevin Whited had already compiled the lyrics to the early albums, and let us re-publish them here.

Now that the recent albums have included lyrics, some of what we post here – especially for Wicked Twisted Road, RKWH and Bulletproof differ slightly from the lyrics printed in the liner notes (especially “Motel Cowboy Show”). To the best of our ability, the lyrics as we have posted them reflect the actual lyrics sung on the CD. Hear anything different, please let us know!

If you are looking for lyrics to songs that RK often covers in their shows but have not recorded… well, we trust you to harness the power of Google. They have covered hundreds of songs and we couldn’t possibly put all the lyrics here.

Well, we could… but we think you should let your fingers do the walkin. It’s a good way to learn about artists you might not otherwise know about.
